idea will also create employment and subsequent independence
for visually impaired students from Queen Alexander
College. Cycle Chain will also help to reduce the
ever-growing inner city environmental and transport
concerns.
The
project has been given additional direction following
interest from the West Midlands Police to provide
storage and a resale service for the growing number
of unclaimed lost and stolen cycles.
As
well as the obvious employment and environmental benefits,
Cycle Chain also encourages a healthier life style
through physical activity and positive mental health.
Co-Enterprise
have helped establish Cycle Chain and provided ongoing
business support including business planning, locating
premises, marketing and registration as a company.
